As a naturopathic doctor + acupuncturist, author, mother, and as a woman,  

I’ve lived the struggle. 

My story is my lesson in self-love.

Pushing through a doctorate, a master’s, cancer research and then private practice left me sick, burnt out, 40 pounds overweight, and utterly depressed + hopeless that I'd ever recover.

One day I realized I had to practice what I preached:

I taught my patients to love and care for themselves like they would care for their child, or the love of their life. And they got better.

I had to do the same: and it worked.

I had to dig into the science, commit to myself, and uncover the root cause to rebalance my hormones and lose the unwanted pounds.

Then I became a mom at 42—and rapidly transitioned from postpartum to perimenopause.

So I renewed my commitment to radical self-care, and finally started to feel like myself again. Now, my mission is to help women figure out how to flow through perimenopause with ease.
